HoCWar – it is a game that recreates atmosphere of World War II in the best traditions of intellectual collectible card games. The outcome of each battle depends on intelligence, ability to study, strategic thinking and some luck. The game combines concepts of card game and strategic gameplay.

Why CCG? Collectible card games. What can be more popular? They capture the virtual world. The apparent simplicity, enthrallment, intellectual content provided them the strong niche among vast abundance of online games.
Relevance of the setting. Fantasy games prevail in enormous diversity of the current CCG. There is a need for make a difference. People treat with deference to the history and want more games based on actual events.

Our small team of developers came out of gamers. We played in World of Tanks Generals. When team of WoT Generals announced in april 2016 that this project will not be updated anymore we realized that we have lost the world, where we want to live. So we have to create our own world.
And we made it!
But cloning it’s not our way. Team made our own completely original project forward from idea. We couldn’t avoid problems and complexities , but when did life ever run smooth?
What can achieve free team, that independently implement ideas and perfectly know game world and needs of gamers. If you have courage you'll make it! We do what we think is right, we have no pressure, and we don’t expect approval of our ideas – it’s all done by gamers interest. We can understand, what’s missing to players or opposite – what discourage them. We made the game, almost the same that we wanted to.
What challenges should meet good computer game? As any product game should meet the requirements of time. What are the parameters for a proper game?
Psychological component. Game should be exciting, addicted – ask any gamer. Distract from reality, entertaining – it’s purpose for all computer games, and HoCWar, certainly, addresses this challenge.
In July 2016 HoCWar was in TOP-100 games in Steam Green Light community, by bringing 2000 unique visitors in 11 days.
Our priority was to look, how our game will be interesting for people. Many people told us to buy votes and pass Green Light, but we refused. We even ask our close people not to vote. Our purpose was not to pass Green Light at all costs, but to look on real state for our game. We don’t want to delude ourselves.
To our surprise, game aroused a real interest, we’ve made to the top of the list and considered this as our first serious achievement. Passing Green Light and awareness that HoCWar is demanded, gave us further propel to work on a game, understanding that we move in right direction.
Compliance of project’s realization to audience requirements. Key to this factor is forum on game’s site. As soon as game has new tokens or just ideas, we published this information on forum and ask gamers to share an opinion. Feedback the most important thing for working on game.
We can talk about ourselves and game for a long time, but we don’t do it, as they say “it is better to see once than to hear one hundred times”. Better still don’t just see, but play. So go play and enjoy it!
